I must get away
To be alone
Somewhere by the sea
You’ll find me
Trying to find myself
Again.
The freshness of the breeze
Fills my need…
Clears my mind
Of what to do
About many things
so new and strange
Now that I’m alone
Again.
Gentle waters
Spalsh o’er my feet
As I walk along and glance
into the lonely reef
Like me, so alone inside,
Trying to start
Again.
The salty fragrance
Of the gentle sea
Envelopes me
I feel at one
With the warmth of the sun
Pouring down on me
I can go on
Again!
With the wind blowing softly
Through my hair,
I stare at this beauty surrounding me.
It’s good I’m alone
To feel my life revitalize
The meaning of it all is
Coming back to me
