A Serendipity Calls, published by Christian Faith Publishing, is the title of Dianne’s latest work, her debut novel.
About the Book:
In 1968, a young woman travelling abroad meets a spiritually gifted friend whose predictions change her world. Her travelling is cut short and she returns home for a celebration that will alter the course of her life. It is there she meets her destiny, a young man who captures her world and becomes the love of her life.
Their world seemed perfect until he discloses he is stricken with terminal cancer and cannot guarantee a future together. His news shakes her world and yet miraculously does not change anything. Despite heartbreak and shattered dreams of what the future might have been, they remain committed to sharing an uncertain, arduous journey together.
They couldn’t rely on the future, only on each other and their love and resilience to keep them strong. Along the way, miraculous gifts show up when the illness becomes unbearable, invasive and painful.
These serendipities provide the couple the determination to never give up. The harder they tried, the more help arrived, restoring their faith and courage.
