Dianne Magor holds a Master of Education (James Cook University, Australia, 2003) and is certified in teaching, counselling, rehabilitation, and accreditation. Her diverse career included helping people with developmental disabilities, mental health issues, and addictions develop life skills and achieve their educational and vocational goals. Dianne has published two children’s books (Xlibris, 2011, 2012) and poetry (Watermark Press, Editor’s Choice Award, 1999). A Serendipity Calls is her first novel.

Dianne has volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society and Wiseman House for Young Offenders, was an advocate for the Alberni Valley Community Response Network and Crown Council Victim Witness Services and has served as vice president on the Nanaimo Community Hospice Society’s Board of Directors. She currently officiates at weddings in her community and plays piano for seniors and fundraising activities. Dianne has two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Her three passions are family, music, and writing.
